The image editing software market is brimming with options. Here are some noteworthy alternatives to Photoshop in 2024:

1. Affinity Photo

Pros : Affinity Photo is a strong competitor to Photoshop, offering a robust set of features at a one-time purchase price, making it more affordable in the long run.

Cons: It might have a steeper learning curve for those transitioning from Photoshop due to differences in interface and workflow.

Pros: GIMP is a free, open-source software that provides a wide range of editing tools. It's highly customizable with various plugins.

Cons: The user interface can be less intuitive, and it might lack some advanced features found in Photoshop.

My personal experience is that it is not user friendly

3. Canva

My Bet on "Affinity photo"

After using Adobe photoshop for a considerable time found "Affinity photo" to be a game changer.
Most versetile thing I noticed is its capibility to use "non destructive" editing.
The interface is very Catchy and speedy.
"Persona" simplifies lots of job efficiently.
using "filter" and "text" effect is of different feel and experience.
"Selection", and "AI" guidance is too good to handle.
I have never processed RAW images in Photoshop so am not interested in that genre.
